dc.description.abstract | As e-Commerce or e-Business has advanced significantly, a variety of areas in many industries are applying e-Business technologies and systems in order to cope with rapidly changing business environment and gain competitiveness. However, it is wide spread and new business technologies that require redefining the concept of e-Business as 'IT-Business' and analyzing policy nation-wide issues on IT-Business. This paper presents a definition and scope of IT-Business industry. Trends in e-Business and IT- Business industry are described in detail and the new concept of IT-Business and its scope are suggested. According to the newly established concept of IT-Business industry, meaningful policy issues such as training and supporting human resources in this sector, job classification and development of job skill framework in IT-Business industry, and analysis of statistics on IT-Business industry and human resources can be reviewed. It is expected that the results of this research can contribute to the advancement of IT-Business industry and can be referenced by other countries in similar status. | - |
