- Abstract
- Electric power distribution reconfiguration is function that can reduce real power losses and voltage violations by changing remotely controlled switches open/close state. The solution of reconfiguration must satisfy system constraint such as voltage and line thermal limits. In this paper, novel network reconfiguration algorithm is presented. It considers current in branch under that all switches are closed condition. So, the computation time of the proposed algorithm is very fast. Although the solution from that is near global optimal, it is very close to the best solution. There are various network reconfiguration algorithms like Branch Exchange, Genetic Algorithm application. The proposed algorithm is compared with other algorithms in small and large sample networks. The result of large case study shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
