Abstract
We report complete reduction reaction of NO into N-2 by oxidizing Fe2+ into Fe3+. To regenerate Fe2+ as a NO absorbent from Fe3+, the H-2-Fe3+ fuel cell supplied by Fe3+-containing solution at the cathode is utilized producing maximum power density of 110 mW cm(-2) at 70 degrees C.
