Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the body composition and physical fitness according to competition performance level in male finswimming players. The result of the present study would provide meaningful information on which components of physical fitness they have improve to be a high competition performance level players and what makes difference between high competition performance level players and low competition performance level players. Two groups of subject such as high competition performacne level finswimming players group(HCG: n=9) and low competition performance level finswimming players group(LCG: n=9) were volunteered to participate in this study. Results of this study were as follows; In body composition, body weight and FFM(fat-free mass) were significantly higher in HCG(p<.05). In isotonic maximum strength(1RM), squat and dead-lift records were significantly higher in HCG(p<.05). In isometric strength, back strength was significantly higher in HCG(p<.05). In muscle endurance, sit-up was significantly higher in HCG(p<.05). In flexibility, trunk extension backward was significantly higher in HCG(p<.05). In cardiorespiratory fitness, AT(anaerobic threshold) was significantly higher in HCG(p<.05).
