- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the Sejong Institute of Gifted and Talented (SIGT) Science Creativity Program utilizing creative problem solving on creativity and creative problem solving ability of children. The subjects of this study were 12 children from a kindergarten located in Gyeonggi Do. SIGT Science Creativity Program was implemented to the children who belonged to the experimental group, and the children of the control group were carried out teacher directed science units. The results of this study were as follows. First, the experimental group of children who were using the SIGT Science Creativity Program showed higher creativity scores than those of control group children. Second, the creative problem solving ability of the experimental group of children improved significantly.
