dc.description.abstract | In the theory of Einstein gravity with a cosmological constant, we consider a 2-dimensional hedgehog configuration of scalar fields and we determine the structure of a static cylindrically-symmetric spacetime with the aftereffects of the scalar fields. We calculate the velocities of objects rotating around the center and discuss their possible relations to the near flatness of the rotation curves in spiral galaxies. | - |
