Abstract
This paper is to find the method for Korean PEF entering Chinese market through analyzing the other PEF entered Chinese market. Recently, due to regulation on the global investment banks operating in China, Chinese currency denominated PEF or investment on small to medium enterprises became one of the favored substituted strategies. The suggestions to financial companies entering Chinese market through PEF during this changing investment trend are as follows: Foremost, finding a strategic alliance/partner is the most important in order to issue the Chinese currency denominated PEF. Since Chinese government encourages Chinese entities to be listed on its domestic market more than foreign markets, securities firms which have ability to help issuing companies have advantage. Next, Investment on small and medium business requires having information net-work in China. Currently, more investments are made on small-sized companies where there is lack of information. Therefore, making investment decision is getting difficult and analyzing the target company in detail such as its future strategies, market changes and its current situation is a must. Lastly, the advantage foreign PEF investors have should be practiced. There are many Chinese enterprise want to be listed in Korea. As a result, or domestic PEF trying to enter Chinese market could strategically invest Chinese enterprises which are also trying to be listed in our market.
