- Abstract
- 잡음예측 최대유사도(NPML, Noise Predictive Maximum Likelihood) 검출기는 잡음 예측/백색화 과정을 비터비 검출기의 가지 메트릭 계산 과정에 삽입하여 데이터 검출의 신뢰성을 높인다. 본 논문에서는 고밀도 광기록 채널에서 밀도가 높아짐에 따라 고차 전달함수 다항식으로 요구되는 성능을 달성할 수 있음을 보인다. 모의실험을 통해 밀도마다 가장 적합한 PR 타겟값을 찾고, NPML 다항식 차수를 올려가며 BER을 측정하였다. 결과로 각 밀도에 따른 적절한 차수가 필요함을 보였다.
