dc.description.abstractTowards 21st century, thanks to the development of information and computer technologies, the concept of education has been shifted to network-based education which has been issued as a new paradigm of education allowing various kinds of real-time interactive digital educational services. Accordingly, this digital education has been rapidly diversified and evolved becomes a major trend in near future complying with the field of fast growing media contents. The study introduced in this thesis focuses on the development of edutainment game content motivating what the infant expect to learn by the way of involving physical interactions with the game. This study tries to clarify the affirmative effect of interactive edutainment content such as improving the self-learning capability. Towards this, this study devotes to design a prototype of interactive edutainment content in order to build the model of new style of educational contents. To verify the positive effect, the user test followed by experimental analysis is conducted by applying designed multimedia edutainment content controlled by physical motion interaction without using conventional keyboards and mouses. By adding the concept of storytelling technique, the developed edutainment content as an educational multimedia game can be installed wherever such as public spaces, where the infant can conduct with physical playing and gaming by themselves on the purpose of learning English words.-
