사진과 비디오 매체를 이용한 시간성의 표현- V.I.P. : Video in Photo 전시를 중심으로 -

Abstract

Photography captures image as a frame, but video media can take a timed images as pictures in one Window Frame. Video can be considered as part of photography which can display with a series of image as sequential. Distinguish point of photographic media and Video media is a change of the image in the flow of time. In the cases of Photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto, Michael Wesely, Atta, KIM, They manifests ‘Time' in their Photo with long exposure time. And Video Artist Bill Viola expresses video with photographic presentation who play very slowly. In Exhibition “V.I.P.”, which stand for Video in Photo and Photo in Video. Married media with Photo & Video, It gives us new sensation for the meaning of the time.
