We propose a rate 5/9 pseudobalanced code of two-dimensional (2D) 3 x 3 arrays for holographic digital data storage (HDDS). The coded array has no isolated 2D intersymbol interference (ISI) patterns and each coded page has almost the same number of 0 and 1 pixels. Thus, we can simultaneously reduce ISI within a page and interpage interference (IPI) between pages.-
