Abstract
This paper primary focuses on the research of causes and consequences of spiritual corruption from a biblical perspective. Corruption, so far, has been widely discussed in terms of an external and tangible view, but rarely from an internal and spiritual corruption. In this paper, therefore, the author discusses the spiritual corruption by conceptualizing corruption as a spiritual corruption. Furthermore, the author contends that the spiritual corruption has caused by violation of God's will, whereby resulted in committing sins based upon the Bible. As a result, spiritual corruption has created numerous incidences of social corruption. In particular, the author points out that consequences of spiritual corruption such as death, destruction, and perishment will be unavoidable. Therefore, it is so urgent to seek any preventive strategies against spiritual corruption. In conclusion, the author suggests that redemption and forgiveness by Christ as a position of Messiah will be the best strategies for curing the spiritual corruption in terms of biblical aspect. If spiritual corruption can be healed by the Christ, the clean society will be created in accordance with the special blessing of God.
