- Abstract
- 본 연구는 우리 나라 교사양성체제에서 신임교사들이 교육현장에서 시행착오를 줄이면서 교사로서 자질을 향상할 수 있는 방법으로서 멘토링 시스템을 연구하였다. 멘토링 시스템은 미국과 영국 등에서 이미 30여년 전 부터 신임교사들의 교육을 위한 중요한 제도로 정착되어 있으나 우리 나라에서는 활용되고 있지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 본연구는 신임교사들이 사범대학이나 교육대학의 양성과정과 함께 현장의 노하우를 멘토교사를 통해 익힘으로써 교사로서 성장발전을 돕는 멘토링 시스템을 우리 나라 신임교사교육에 도입할 수 있도록 한다. 이를 위해 신임교사교육에서의 멘토링 사용방법을 소개하고 멘토교사의 자질, 신임교사에게 효과적인 멘토링 기능을 살펴보고 멘토교사와 신임교사의 멘토링의 과정을 중심으로 우리 교육현장에 활용될 수 있도록 제안하였다.
