- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dance sport exercise on blood lipids and HOMA-IR for obese children. Obese children participants in training program for 12 weeks. They were training for 60 minutes a day and 3 times per week. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(blood lipids and HOMA-IR). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a=.05. The results were as follows: Blood lipids, there was significant difference according to the measurement, HOMA-IR, there was significant difference according to the measurement. From the results, We findings suggest that Obese children could improve their blood lipids and HOMA-IR through dance sport exercise program.
