Euclidean distance based algorithm for UAV acoustic detection

Abstract

In this paper, we present a detection algorithm to detect acoustic signals of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Exploiting the feature that the UAV's acoustic signal consists of harmonic complex sounds, a detection scheme is proposed by applying STFT and ED. The experiments show that the feature of UAV is extracted effectively. © 2018 Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers.
