Differentiation of ECM and noise model/data rejection for high-capacity and high-power cell according to the electrical characteristics

Abstract

This study presents a differentiation of equivalent circuit model ECM (equivalent circuit model) and noise model/data rejection for high-capacity and high-power lithium-ion cell. Firstly, this work introduces basic ECM and some noise model and data rejection techniques. Secondly, this work compares electrical characteristics of the high-capacity and high-power lithium-ion cell. And, ideal modeling of equivalent ECM and data rejection techniques are selected by electrical characteristics. Finally, the results of SOC (state of charge) estimation based on EKF (extended Kalman filter) are compared. © 2017 IEEE.
