P (Transport Control Protocol) is the most important protocol in the transport layer of TCP/IP model. TCP works very well in wired network. However, in wireless networks TCP has faced with decrease of performance due to the fact that it treats every packet loss as a congestive loss. In this paper, we propose a new scheme based on TCP Snoop to improve performance of TCP over wireless network. Our scheme efficiently uses Access Point's buffer space by selectively caching policy using fluctuation of Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). Access Point performs local retransmission the cached packets in case corruption loss is detected. By analyzing, the proposed scheme can improve TCP throughput when compare with Snoop in some specific cases © 2013 IEEE.-
