dc.description.abstractA simple method for continous control of the pretilt angle is presented. Two different types of polyimide, one used for homeotropic alignment, and the other used for planar alignment, are mixed. By controlling the baking temperature and mixing ratio of the mixture the pretilt angle can be tuned continuously.-
