dc.description.abstract | This paper has presented a novel envelope elimination and restoration (EER) structure using class-F power amplifier. The photonic bandgap (PBG) structure has been applied to suppress the 2nd and 3rd harmonics on output matching network. The envelope tracking circuit of EER structure has consisted of the envelope detector and the DC-DC converter. The power added efficiency (PAE) and the 3rd order inter-modulation distortion (IMD) has been improved comparing with those of adaptive biased Doherty power amplifier. | - |
