Restricted curvature model with suppression in d=2+1

Abstract

We study a restricted curvature model with suppression of extremal height in two substrate dimensions. In our model, the surface width W shows the roughness exponent alpha approximate to 0.65 and the dynamics exponent z approximate to 2.76 in two substrate dimensions. alpha is close to but slightly less than 2/3. However, the correlation function has an unusual scaling behavior and produces a different wandering exponent alpha(') 0.95 and its dynamic exponent z(') approximate to 4.04. We find delta = alpha/alpha(') approximate to 0.68, which is slightly larger than 2/3.
