A model of the integrated tool for the management of processes and artifacts of CBD projects

Abstract

It is essential to notify the improved processes, artifacts and change of tasks to all users during the project. Existing project management tools support tasks for defining and changing the project activities and configuration management tools support the version control, workspace management, build management etc. It is complicated to learn the usage of various tools and costs too much to buy each tool. Therefore the web-based integrated tool is proposed in order to manage processes and artifacts at a time in this paper. The proposed tool defines a component based development process model and records process progression. Furthermore it processes the request of change and reports the progression of each task. Moreover it registers and changes product, and records and searches artifacts or forms using ebXML. The stakeholders could get the systematic management and standardization sharing information that are necessary in process execution and configuration management in distributed environment using the integrated management tool.
