We have researched into loss-tolerate multicast authentication mechanism. These mechanisms can be applied to mobile multicast environment because a Mobile Node(MN)'s movement causes packet loss. The packet loss brings about verification failure of authenticated data; as a result, the total message is dropped. It is very sensitive problem for real-time data transmission in spite of loss allowable mobile multicast network. Furthermore, in mobile multicast, a Foreign Agent(FA) or Home Agent(HA) joints a multicast group instead of a MN, so we have another problem which node verifies authenticated message. For security, a final MN should verify the message, but the FA or HA might verify the message relaying on exiting multicast message authentication mechanisms. Thus, we propose real-time multimedia authentication mechanism for mobile multicast. We propose a robust loss tolerate authentication scheme, which provides fast verification time for real-time multimedia message, against frequent packet loss. Also, we suggest an initial group key exchange procedure for only MN having the key.-
