- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mckenzie exercise on cervical posture and neck disability for elderly women. Elderly women participants in mckenzie program for 12 weeks. They were training for 50 minutes a day and 3 times per week. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(cervical posture and neck disability). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a=.05. The results were as follows: Cervical posture, there was significant difference according to the measurement, Neck disability, there was significant difference according to the measurement. From the results, we findings suggest that elderly women could improve their cervical posture and neck disability through mckenzie program.
