Method: The subjects of this study were middle school students livin gin Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan . Total 2,378 students including 1,174 Korean adolescents and 1,204 Japanese adolescents were analyzed. For the analysis method, Rasch RSM model was applied and jMetrik 41.1 program was used to verify unidimensionality, item fit and difficulty. Results: As a result of the analysis, first, both leisure type and sleuire benefit scales of Korean and Japanese adolescents satisfied unidimensionality. In addition, as a result of examining the item difficulty, there were questions in which both leisure type and leisure benefit had a difference in response between Korean and Japanese adolescents. Conclusion: Through this study, the differences in leisure behavior mode lbetween Korean and Japanese adolescents were suggested, and similarities and differences were discussed through comparison of leisure culture between Korean and Japanese adolescents.
