- Abstract
- 본 연구는 한국고령화연구패널조사(Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging: KLoSA) 제6차년도 자료를 활용하여, 전기노인과 후기노인의 우울과 개인부담 입원비용의 관계에서 신체질환의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 노인 4,505명으로, 65세 이상 75세 미만의 노인을 전기노인으로, 75세 이상의 노인을 후기노인으로 포함하였다. 개인부담 입원비용에 미치는 우울의 직접적인 영향과 신체질환을 통한 우울의 간접적인 영향을 살펴봄에 있어 전기노인과 후기노인의 차이를 비교하기 위해 다집단 경로분석 모형을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 우울은 신체질환과 정적 상관관계를 가지며, 이는 결과적으로 개인부담 입원비용의 증가로 이어지는데, 특히 개인부담 입원비용과 우울의 관계에서 신체질환의 매개효과는 전기노인보다 후기노인이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 기반으로 사회복지 실천 전문가들은 전기노인과 후기노인의 우울과 신체질환의 관계를 이해함으로써, 노인의 우울 예방과 복지증진을 위한 통합적인 서비스 모형 구축을 위해 노력해야 한다.
