- Abstract
- 본 연구의 목적은 도박접근성이 청소년의 도박문제 수준에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄에 있어 비합리적 도박신념의 조절효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 한국도박문제관리센터에서 청소년 도박문제 예방모델 개발을 위해 도박문제 위험-보호요인을 살펴본 연구 자료의 일부가 사용되었으며, 만 13~18세 청소년 1,530명이 연구 대상에 포함되었다. 조절회귀분석 결과, 도박접근성이 높고 도박관련 인지적 신념이 비합리적일수록 더 많은 도박문제를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도박접근성과 비합리적 도박신념 간의 상호작용효과는 유의미하게 나타나 도박접근성과 도박문제와의 관계에서 비합리적 도박신념이 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구 결과는 청소년 도박문제는 청소년을 둘러싼 거시적 환경과 미시적 개인요인이 결합된, 복합적 상호작용을 통해 발생될 수 있음을 시사한다. 따라서 청소년의 도박문제를 예방하기 위해서는 도박접근성을 낮추기 위한 거시적인 노력과 함께, 예방 및 치료적 개입에 있어서 청소년의 비합리적 도박신념을 수정하기 위한 미시적인 노력이 요구된다.
