- Abstract
- The purpose of this publication is to examine the economic situation of the Russian peasantry in the Voronezh province in the late 19th - early 20 centuries. In this study we analyzed various types of statistical data and consequently reached several conclusions as follows. In 1877-1905 peasants in the Voronezh province suffered from land hunger, and therefores to solve this problem they had to lease land from landowners, many of which owned by nobility.
