- Abstract
- 본 연구는 한국 유가증권시장 비금융기업을 대상으로 2011년-2018년 기간에 대해 외환손익과 환노출 계수의 관계를 분석하였다. 한국 기업의 외환손익은 환노출 계수와 유의적인 관계가 있다. 외환이익이 증가할수록 환노출 계수가 양(+)의 방향으로 증가하고, 외환손실이 증가할수록 환노출 계수가 음(-)의 방향으로 강해진다. 외환손익과 환노출 계수의 유의적인 관계는 환노출 계수가 유의적인 기업에서만 나타난다. 이는 한국 기업의 상당수가 외환손익을 적절하게 관리하지 못해 환율 변동에 의한 기업가치 변동을 경험하고 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 또한, 회계적 환위험관리에 보다 관심이 필요함을 시사한다.
