- Abstract
- Linux 시스템을 이용한 TCP 웹 서비스는 인터넷 및 랜 환경에서 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있다. 대부분의Linux 장비들은 기본 설정으로 동작시키고 있다. 시스템 성능을 최적화 하기 위해서는 Linux 운영체제 변수 및서비스 성능 모니터링에 대한 전문적 지식이 필요하고 네트워크 분석이 가능해야 한다. TCP 성능은 RTT에 매우큰 영향을 받고 있고 Linux의 운영체제 변수인 TCP 재전송 파라미터 RTO_MIN은 200msec로 고정되어 있다. 최근 고속화된 통신망에서 고정된 200msec RTO_MIN은 사용자 환경에 부합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 자동으로RTO_MIN을 조정하여 TCP 웹 서비스 성능개선이 가능한 시스템을 개발하였다. 실험을 통하여 제안 시스템이 자동으로 RTO-MIN 값을 찾아 시스템 성능을 개선함을 확인하였다.
