- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to generate ideas for the design of the curriculum through the actual status of foreign students majoring in Korean language education. In order to achieve this goal, a survey was conducted on 161 undergraduate students majoring in Korean language education, taking Gwangju and Jeonnam as an example, where most of the students are international students. The contents of the survey include learner's personal information, Korean language learning experience, major selection and motivation, desired career path, status of taking courses in the Korean language education major, and learner requirements. In particular, as for the status of lectures in the Korean language education major, subjects were classified into subjects related to Korean education and communication subjects, it was confirmed to the Likert level such as voluntary motivation, content comprehension, communication comprehension, academic achievement, communication achievement, and course satisfaction.
