- Abstract
- The IoT is the very critical core to fourth industrial revolution that will lead to hyper-connectivity, hyper-intelligence, and hyper-reality. Recently, the importance of software, electronics, mechanical, and convergence education has emerged, and thanks to this, research and development for IoT platform educational equipment is in progress. However, in the educational field, practical devices for IoT education, namely various sensors, breadboards, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, are purchased and used respectively. This problem is due to the lack of integrated IoT platform educational equipment. In this study, an integrated IoT platform education system based on open source hardware was the operation, and performance was verified by using IoT platform system where various sensor and device modules are equipped and controlled. The IoT in this article has strong points in openness, compatibility, high availability, economy, and space utilization, which is expected to improve the efficiency of the educational field.
