Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine whether the correlation and difference of creative self-efficacy and self-assessment of creativity between pre-service teachers and in-service teachers. Teachers' creative self-efficacy is very important in that it leads to creativity education in the classroom. This study aims at analyzing creative self-efficacy and self-assessment values of creativity for in-service teachers and college students who are taking curricula for teaching profession to be a teacher. For empirical research, data collection was done for 36 in-service teachers working at a school located at a metropolitan area in Korea and 34 pre-service teacher taking curricula for teaching profession at a college at the same area. As for research tools, both creative self-efficacy test and self-assessment values on creativity were used. For research findings, descriptive statistics were calculated on self-assessment values of the creativity and creative self-efficacy between in-service and pre-service teacher groups. In addition, as statistical methods, t-test, correlation was conducted to compare whether there is difference in scores between both groups. © 2017 International Information Institute.
