- Abstract
- The present study empirically validates the effect of authentic leadership on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Moreover, we also examine the moderating effect of self-efficacy between authentic leadership and both organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The date was collected from 186 employees in IT industries in Korea. The findings showed as we expected. Authentic leadership displays positive effects on self-efficacy and both organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Self-efficacy is viewed to be positively related to organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Finally, self-efficacy has moderating effects between authentic leadership and both organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. © 2017 International Information Institute.
