dc.description.abstractAlthough existing real time operating system is used in various fields such as aviation control, military equipments, defense system, nuclear power plant, and medical equipments, practically it is difficult to be used generally due to its very expensive price. If open source Linux supports real time, real time operating system could be easily built with low cost. In this paper, we suggest a real time kernel patch which can build real time Embedded Linux on embedded board with low cost. It supports characteristics of real time operating system through real time kernel patch, and would be helpful for developers who want to build real time Embedded Linux system with low cost. © Research India Publications.-
