This research analyzes a case of a Maltese dog living with its owner as a pet voluntarily vocalizing specific word with its emotions depending on the situation. Naturally, dogs cannot speak human languages because they have different oral structures from those of humans. However, mimicking the words of its owner with unclear pronunciation, the multiplicity of this event and the fact that its emotion is expressed in its vocalization makes this case worth an analysis. This paper examines the potential voluntariness detected in dog's vocalization. © 2016 International Information Institute.-
