- Abstract
- A substantial portion of energy charges consists of the basic charge. Therefore, any economic analysis must include the basic charge, and the operation of an Energy Storage System (ESS) is necessary to reduce the basic charge. This research covers case studies on application of effective ESS economic analysis and ESS economic analysis methods applied in those cases. Previous studies in this area have only covered economic analysis on usage fees, while this research presents an economic analysis on both usage fees and basic charges. In addition, this paper compares economic analysis methods in order to propose the optimal method. © 2016 International Information Institute.
