Our brain controls our body and feelings through connections it makes with the nervous system. When the brain does it, it naturally produces brainwaves which are different from one another depending on the surroundings and situations. The analysis of human brainwaves tells us a lot of information about our physical as well as emotional conditions. This paper analyzes the brainwaves of the patient with anxiety disorder and compares their characteristics to those of normal people, when the subjects were doing nothing and their eyes were closed. The results of the experiment show that the patient with anxiety disorder has more theta-waves while normal people have more alpha-waves among alpha-, beta-, theta-, and delta-waves from the brain and they are crowded in the low and middle frequency ranges. The fact that the brainwaves of the patient with anxiety disorder has characteristics of theta-waves' distortedness toward the low frequency range will be helpful in finding more effective treatments for people with anxiety disorders. ©2016 International Information Institute.-
