초등교사의 다문화교육역량 수준 예측변인 규명

dc.description.abstract이 연구의 목적은 초등교사의 다문화교육역량 수준을 잘 예측하는 변인을 규명하고, 이를 통해 초등교사의 다문화교육역량을 강화할 수 있는 구체적인 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 선행연구에서 초등교 사의 다문화교육역량에 주요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악된 교사의 배경변인과 문화간감수성, 다문화수 용성, 교원학습문화 변인들을 연구에 이용하였다. 연구자료 수집을 위하여 서울시 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 690명을 비례층화표집 하였으며, 수집된 연구 자료는 순서로지스틱 모델(ordered logistic model)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 초등교사의 다문화교육역량 수준을 예측하는데 교원학습문화의 주도성, 다문화수용성의 보편성, 문화간감수성의 상호작용참여도와 상호작용주의도, 다문화교육 연수경험, 교육 경력 등의 변인들이 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 이러한 결과는 초등교사의 다문화교육역량 강화를 위해 초등교사의 주도적인 교원학습문화 형성을 위한 지원, 다문화수용성의 보편성 및 문화간감수성의 상호작 용참여와 상호작용주의 향상을 위한 예비⋅현직교사 교육, 다문화교육 연수의 확대, 그리고 교육경력에 따른 차별화된 다문화교육 프로그램 운영의 필요성을 시사한다.-
