- Abstract
- 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 평생학습도시 사업에 따른 평생학습도시와 비평생학습도시의 평생학습실태 및 성과를 비교하는 것이다. 연구자료는 전국 16개 시도의 만25∼64세 남녀 총 9,948명이 참여한 2014년 평생학습개인실태조사 결과이다. 2014년 평생학습개인실태조사는 통계청의 표본 조사구를 표집틀로 이용하기 때문에, 응답자가 거주하는 지역의 평생학습도시 여부를 정확하게 구분할 수 있다. 연구자료의 분석은 빈도분석, 교차분석, 일원분산분석을 이용하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생학습도시와 비평생학습도시 간에 형식교육 참여율, 형식교육 참여시간, 형식교육 자기부담 학습비용 등에서 유의한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 비형식교육 측면에서, 비형식교육 참여율과 비형식교육 참여경험이 학습자 본인에게 자기계발, 업무능력향상, 시민의식증진 등에 도움이 되는지에 대한 인식에서 평생학습도시가 비평생학습도시보다 유의하게 높았다. 셋째, 무형식학습 측면에서는 평생학습도시가 비평생학습도시보다 자기주도학습 참여율과 그 경험의 도움에 대한 인식에서 유의하게 높았다. 마지막으로, 평생학습 참여를 통한 삶의 질 향상 도움에 대한 인식에서는 평생학습도시와 비평생학습도시 간에 유의한 차이가 없었다.
