- Abstract
- Dehumidifiers are the most used electronics in summer. The more distinctive the four seasons are, the hotter it is in summertime, and the higher the humidity, the more influence on living environment and various equipment. In order to minimize the influence of such humidity, various methods are being solved. If the humidity is high, the discomfort index felt by people may increase, and health problems may also occur. Currently, the global dehumidifier market is growing from about 500,000 units in 2012 to about 5 million units in 2015. In this study, various noises due to the use of dehumidifier are investigated precisely and analysis is performed using psychoacoustic parameters. The three types of dehumidifiers used in the analysis were analyzed for noise caused by using different compressors. Therefore, it is aimed to analyze various influences on living appliances by investigating the effect on psychological sound. © 2017 International Information Institute.
