This study evaluated the indoor environment of Misung Middle School, which has had long periods of use, to confirm the current state of the old educational facility. Various remodeling alternatives were induced, and improvements of energy efficiencies were evaluated to seek an optimal remodeling method. Building energy performances according to remodeling alternatives were comparatively analyzed using the building energy analysis tool PHPP 8.5. In addition, the classroom illuminance was also evaluated by Radiance program to improve the illuminance distribution.-
