- Abstract
- This paper will compare and contrast the real sound on steps on snow and that of a Foley sound used in broadcasting stations. We tried to differentiate the properties of both sounds and how creative manmade effects have been in the past. The property of real snow has deterred motion picture producers to use real snow in studios, as it will melt, and they needed an alternative to capture the sound. Creating a sound content was crucial in motion pictures by adding symbolic sound to motion pictures. The process of creating and producing imitation sounds are of great interest and fun, there is a good market for making sound contents for the purpose of exhibitions, performances, and experience centers. © 2015 International Information Institute.
