재활승마프로그램이 ADHD 아동의 심리에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 재활승마프로그램이 ADHD 아동의 심리에 미치는 영향을 심리검사지를 이용하여 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 ADHD 아동 26명으로 대조군과 실험군 모두 13명씩으로 구성되었다. 재활승마 프로그램은 6주간 12회를 실시하였다. 실시 전·후, 대상자의 심리적 변화를 살펴보기 위해 심리학적 변인으로 주의력결핍과잉행동장애 평가 척도(K-ARS)와 사회적 기술 평가 척도(SSRS)를 측정하였다. 연구 결과 분석 및 논의를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 재활승마프로그램은 ADHD 아동의 주의력결핍과잉행동정도를 낮추고 협동성, 공감능력, 자기조절과 같은 사회기술을 향상시켰다. 재활승마가ADHD 아동의 문제 행동 감소와 삶의 질 향상을 기대하며 후속될 연구를 수행함에 있어 다음과 같이 제언을 하고자 한다. 약물 투여집단 및 운동프로그램 집단 등으로 집단을 재구성하면 승마를 통해 얻을 수있는 심리적인 측면이 어느 정도인지 유추해 볼 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

The main purpose of the study was to analyze the effects of therapeutic horse riding on the psychology of the children with ADHD by appling a psychology checklist. The participants were divided into two groups: the control group, ADHD children with therapeutic horse riding. The therapeutic horse riding was performed 2 times a week of 6 weeks. The followings are the major findings of the analysis. The measurement of K-ARS and SSRS to investigate psychological changes before and the therapeutic riding, showed the lessen of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder symptoms, and increase of sociability such as cooperation, ability of empathy, and self-control. Some recommendations could be made for further studies, with a hope that the therapeutic horse riding could make the decreasing of unacceptable behavior and enhancement of the quality of life children with ADHD. Addition to this, regrouping by medicated and exercise samples, could be help in measuring the degree of psychological changes by riding.
