정동의 장치와 주체화 연구방법 - 미디어 비오그라피:푸코, 아감벤, 들뢰즈의 장치와 주체화, 배치에 대한 사유를 중심으로

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 정동의 장치와 주체화에 대한 사유들을 이론적으로 분석하여미디어교육의 방법론적 자원들을 탐색하는 데 있다. 정동의 장치에 관심을 두는 이유는 두 가지 측면에서 제기된다. 한편으로, 디지털 환경의 발전에 따라점차 정서의 변이 장치들이 세분화되어 작동한다는 점에 기인한다. 즉 슬픔, 기쁨, 욕망의 다양한 정서들을 표현하고 이용자들 간에 서로 영향력을 행사하는 디지털 장치들이 증식하고 있다는 것이다. 또 다른 한편, 이러한 정동의장치가 일정한 방식에 따라 개인의 감성을 포함/배제하는 과정을 통해 이용자의 미디어 생애사를 구성한다는 점이다. 즉 정서와 감성의 분할 장치들이 이용자의 생애사적 경험들을 지배하거나 혹은 새로운 저항적 주체화의 가능성을낳을 수 있는 것이다. 영화와 드라마의 영웅들을 모방하는 어린이와 청소년의정체성 형성과정은 이러한 미디어 생애사 과정을 탐구함으로써 보다 명확하게이해할 수 있다. 이러한 연구를 위해 이론적 자원으로서 우선 푸코의 장치와주체화 논의, 아감벤의 장치와 세속화에 대한 사유, 그리고 들뢰즈의 배치와차이의 생성에 대한 사상적 흐름을 탐색하고자 한다. 이러한 이론적 자원들을활용하여 미디어교육의 질적 연구방법인 미디어 비오그라피의 이론적 특성과방법론의 구체적 특징들을 살펴볼 것이다. 본 연구는 미디어교육과 질적 연구방법론의 경계를 넓히기 위한 기초적인 자료를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.

This study focuses to analyze theoretically the thinking of affectus apparatuses and subjectivation for finding methodological resources of media education. The reason of the interest to affectus apparatus can be suggested in two sides. One side is derived from the fact that the emotional and sentimental fragmentation apparatuses are operated segmentally due to the development of the digital environment. Thus, the digital apparatuses that express and deliver diverse emotions such as sadness, happiness, and desire are multiplied. On the other side, this affectus apparatuses constitute to the user’s media life history through the process of including and excluding the personal emotions in regular method. In other words the fragmentation apparatuses of emotions and sentiments can invade the life history experiences of the user or give birth to the possibility of new resistant subjectification. The identity creation procedure of children and teenagers that imitate the heroes of movies and dramas can be understood more clearly by studying this media life history procedure. First, for this research, the discussion on Foucault’s apparatus and subjectivity, the thinking of Agamben’s apparatus and secularization, and the ideological flow of Deleuze’s arrangement and creation of difference will be looked through as the theoretical resource. Using these theoretical resource, the theoretical characteristic and methodology of media biography which is the qualitative research method of media education will be studied. This research has its meaning to provided the basic data to broaden the boundary of media education and qualitative research methodology.
