과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력 및 창의성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력 및 창의성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 살펴보고 이를 통해 유아가 탐구능력, 창의성을 갖춘 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 교육현장에서 적용 가능한 실제적인 교육 방법에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 충청남도 C시에 위치한 G유치원 만 5세 유아 52명(실험집단 26명, 통제집단 26명)을 대상으로 연구를 실시하고 t검증하여 분석한 결과, 첫째, 과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력 증진에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동이 유아의 창의성 증진에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동은 유아의 과학적 탐구능력과 창의성 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 교수법이라고 할 수 있으며, 따라서 교육현장에서 유아의 과학적 탐구능력과 창의성 증진을 위한 방법으로 과학적 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동을 적극적으로 진행할 필요가 있다.

This purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience on children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity. The subjects of this research are 52 young children (27 boys and 25 girls) aged 5, from G kindergarten located in C city of the Chung Cheong nam province, with the experimental group of 26 young children, and the control group of 26 young children. To verify the effects of lyrics-changing activities through scientific inquiry experience on young children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity, the data gained from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed by SPSS Statistics 22.0 for 32-bit Windows and t-tests were used to measure significance. The results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience had a positive effect on children’s scientific inquiry ability. Second, the lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience had a positive effect on children’s creativity. The results of this study suggest that lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experiences may be used as a proper and meaningful teaching-learning method to enhance children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity. Therefore, it is necessary to progress lyrics-changing activities actively through scientific inquiry experiences in early childhood education.
