협동학습과 자기주도학습이 대학생의 삶의 만족감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구에서는 대학생들을 대상으로 협동학습, 자기주도학습 및 삶의 만족감 간의 상호 관련성을 살펴보고, 협동학습과 삶의 만족감 간의 관계에서 자기주도학습이 매개효과를 지니고 있는지 그리고 입학전형 유형(입학사정관전형, 일반전형)에 따른 두 집단을 분리하여 이 세 변인들 간의 관계를 개별적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 협동학습, 자기주도학습 및 삶의 만족감은 상호 정적 상관을 보였으며, 협동학습과 삶의 만족감 간의 관계에서 자기주도학습이 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 입학전형 유형에 따른 두 집단을 개별적으로 분석한 결과, 두 집단 모두 자기주도학습이 협동학습과 삶의 만족감 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 협동학습이 삶의 만족감에 직접적으로 미치는 영향은 일반전형 집단에서만 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 협동학습과 자기주도학습이 대학생의 삶의 만족감을 증진시키는데 기여하는 것으로 나타난 본 연구 결과는 대학생들의 삶의 만족감을 증진 시키는 방안을 구축하는데 교육적 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study was to examine the effects of collaborative learning and self-directed learning on life satisfaction in university students. A total of 527 university students in Seoul, Korea, which consisted of 97 students (18.4%) admitted through the college admission officer system (CAFAS) and 430 students (81.6%) admitted through the regular admission system (RAS), was selected as the final samples. Pearson's correlations indicated that self-directed learning, collaborative learning and life satisfaction were positively associated with each other. Self-directed learning mediated between collaborative learning and life satisfaction for students admitted through both CAFAS and RAS. Moreover, for students admitted through the CAFAS, collaborative learning did not directly influence life satisfaction, whereas for those through the RAS, collaborative learning directly influence life satisfaction. Implications of the study were discussed in terms of implications for enhancing self-directed learning and life satisfaction of university students in education settings.
