노인간호 교육이 간호대학생의 치매에 대한 지식 및 태도, 치매정책 인식에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본 연구는 노인간호 교육이 간호대학생의 치매에 대한 지식 및 태도, 치매정책 인식에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 사전, 사후 설계의 유사 실험 연구이다. K시, J시 소재 간호대학 2학년에 재학 중인 간호대학생 172명을 대상자로 선정하여 교육군에게 56시간 노인간호 교육을 실시하였다. SPSS Win 20.0를 이용하여 평균, 백분율, t-test, x²으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 교육군에서 평균 27.10점으로 치매에 대한 지식이 더 높았으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=7.500, p=.000). 치매에 대한 태도에서도 교육군의 평균이 4.10점으로 치매노인에 대한 태도가 더 긍정적이었으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=1.423, p=.000). 치매정책 인식에서는 교육군에서 인식이 더 긍정적으로 개선되었으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다(t=1.70, p=.090). 이를 통해 노인간호 교육이 간호대학생의 치매에 대한 지식을 향상시키고 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키는데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 이론과 실습을 병행한 노인간호 교육과정 개발이 필요하며, 이를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 본 연구를 시도하였다.

This study was a nonequivalent pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study. It was conducted to evaluate the effects of a nursing geriatric nursing education for nursing students’ attitude, perception and dementia policy. Subjects were 172 persons, sophomore of nursing college in the city of K and city of J, and the education group was taken 56 houres of gerontological nursing education. Data were analyzed by mean, percentage, t-test and x² using SPSS Win 20.0. As the result, in the education group, the knowledge of dementia was higher on average 27.10, and there was a significant statistic differance(t=7.500, p<000). In the atitude of demencia, the average of education group was higher on 4.10, and the atitude about dementia in the education group was more positive and here was a significant statistic difference(t=1.423, p<000). In the understanding of dementia policy, there was more positively improvement However, there was no significant statistic difference (t=1.70, p=.090). Through this result, we could reccognize that gerontological nursing education was effective for nursing students to improve knowledge about dotards, change atitude positively. Therefore we tried this study for provide basic data to develop gerontological nursing education progress combining theory with practice.
