유아 공감교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 실태

Abstract

본 연구는 유아 공감교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 실태를 분석하여 공감교육 이해와 효과적인 공감교육 운영에 대한 정보를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 유아 공감교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 실태를 파악하기 위해 문헌분석 및 유아교육 전문가와의 협의과정을 통해 연구도구인 설문지를 개발하고 이를 근거로 연구자료를 수집하였다. 설문지는 ‘유아 공감교육에 대한 교사의 인식’과 ‘유아 공감교육실태’의 2개 범주로 총 17문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 225명의 유아교사였으며, 수집된 자료는 χ2검증을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 공감교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태는 교사의 배경변인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the status and early childhood teachers’ awareness of empathy education for young children and discuss the way to promote the efficiency of empathy education for. A questionnaire was developed based on prior literature, research and arrangements with early childhood professionals. The questionnaire is composed of 2 items of 17 questions. The subjects used in this study were 225 early childhood teachers. Data analysis was conducted by -test. The results of this study indicated that there were partially significant differences among the groups in the status and teachers’ awareness of empathy education for young children. Finally, ways to promote efficiency of empathy education for young children were discussed in this study.
