청소년의 인터넷 사용 수준과 건강행위

Abstract

본 연구는 청소년의 인터넷 사용 수준을 조사하고 인터넷 사용 수준과 일반적 특성 및 건강행위 관련특성과의 차이를 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 조사를 위해 제5차(2009년) 청소년건강행태온라인조사 원시자료를 이용하였으며 청소년의 인터넷 사용 수준은 잠재적 위험 사용군 11.9%, 고위험 사용군이 3.1%로 나타났다. 청소년의 일반적 특성에 따른 인터넷 사용수준은성별, 학교급, 학교성적, 부모 동거형태, 부모 학력, 경제상태에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며 건강행위관련 특성에 따른 인터넷사용수준은 평생 흡연, 현재 흡연, 평생 음주, 현재 음주, 평생 약물 사용, 현재 약물 사용, 성경험, 주관적 수면 시간 만족도 및주관적 건강상태, 격렬한 신체운동 실천, 스트레스 인지 정도, 우울감, 자살생각 및 자살시도 경험에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 결론적으로 청소년의 잠재적 위험 사용군과 고위험 사용군의 비율은 높은 수준이었으며 건강위험 행위를 할수록 고위험 사용군의비율이 높았다. 따라서 청소년의 인터넷 사용 수준에 따른 신체적, 정신적 건강을 향상시키기 위한 개별적인 건강교육 프로그램마련과 이에 대한 효과 검증이 필요하다

This study was done to identify the difference between internet usage levels and health behaviors of adolescents in Korea. Data from the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey 2009 collected by the Korean Center for Disease Control were analyzed using χ2-test. The potentially dangerous group was 11.9%, and high-risk group was 3.1%. Difference in internet usage levels according to general characteristics were as follows. : gender, school, school record, parental living arrangement, level of father's education, level of mother's education, and economic status. And difference in internet usage levels according to health behavior related factors were as follows. : lifetime smoking, current smoking, lifetime drinking, current drinking, lifetime drug, current drug, sexual intercourse, subjective sleep time satisfaction, subjective health status, strenuous exercise practice(3days/week), stress level, depression, suicidal thinking, and suicidal attempt. The findings suggest that board intervention programs should be provided to prevent problem of internet addiction.
