First, the major sources of happiness for three-year-old children were social relationships, flow experience, materials, health and peaceful mind, and nature. Second, four-year-old children’s happiness stems from social relationships, flow experience, achievement, special experience, and nature. Finally, five-year-old children’s happiness was related to social relationships, flow experience, nature, materials, special experience, achievement, and health and peaceful mind. The findings are expected to provide useful information for developing early childhood education programs for young children from multicultural families.
